11 suspects rounded up in citywide ‘targeted’ raids

KARACHI: Police and Rangers in a joint action on late Saturday night apprehended 11 suspects including two Lyari gangsters, ARY News reported.

The law enforcers nabbed four suspects in a raid in Clifton Block-9 area. Similarly the law enforcement agencies raided the Ajmer Nagri neighbourhood and collared two suspects.

Weapons were also recovered from the arrested persons.

Rangers conducted a targeted operation in PECHS society and caught three suspects and moved them to an undisclosed location for interrogation.

The paramilitary forced also arrested two Lyari gangwar suspects in a raid in restive locality’s Afshani Gali.

Meanwhile, three people lost their lives in seprate firing incidents across the city. According to police, a man was killed in firing near Defence phase-II. He was idenfitied as Irfan.

Two men also fell prey to firing in Clifton’s Neelam Colony and Qayumabad.
