Syed Qaim Ali Shah, who is also Sindh President of ruling PPP, holding meeting with provincial ministers, Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Syed Murad Ali Shah and Dr. Sikandar Mendhro, who belong to Badin and remain in the district throughout the party’s election campaign, to discuss the causes of election debacle.
In Badin where PPP’s disillusioned group led by former home minister Zulfiqar Mirza posed serious challenge to the ruling party first time in the history of the southern district of Sindh.
PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had also led a rally from Golarchi to Badin in the campaign for the party’s candidates. Despite his impressive rally rival Mirza Group won all 14 wards of Badin municipal committee.
