14 injured after two groups exchange fire in Sargodha

SARGODHA: At least 14 people were injured, six of them critically, when two groups opened fire at each other after a land dispute, ARY News reported.

An altercation started between two groups of Ghulam Rasool and Ghafoor in the located in Ilyani in the rural area of tehsil Kot Mohan, after which they opened indiscriminate firing at each other.

As a results fourteen people were wounded including six critically who were shifted to District Teaching Hospital Sargodha. The critically injured were identified as Khalid Mahmood, Azhar Mahmood, Waqas Ahmed, Muhammad Aslam, Taimoor, and Umar Hayat.

Police reached the scene after receiving news of the incident and have started legal proceedings and investigations.
