17 security personnel injured in Sibi blast

QUETTA: At least 17 security personnel were injured in a remote controlled bomb blast in Sibi area, ARY News reported on Monday.

According to government sources, two vehicles have completely been destroyed in the wake of blast.

As per initial reports, the blast was caused by a remote-controlled device near a convoy of security officials.

All the injured have been shifted to Combined Military Hospital (CMH) for treatment. The condition of the injured personnel is said to be out of danger. 

No terrorist group has so far claimed responsibility of the attack.

Terrorist attacks, especially targeting security personnel, in the region have become an order of the day. Human Rights Commission of Pakistan often issue statements, expressing serious concerns over human rights violations and deteriorating law and order situation in Balochistan.
