Police obtain mobile data of alleged rapist of 20-year-old girl in Rawalpindi suburb

RAWALPINDI: A young girl was allegedly raped and killed after being pushed down from a building in a suburban area of Rawalpindi on Saturday, ARY News reported.

According to latest reports, the police have obtained a cell-phone data of one of the accused persons, Umair.

Three men allegedly raped a girl at a house located in a posh housing society under jurisdiction of Rawaat police station and killed her by pushing down from top of the building.

The victim aged 20 and hailed from Chakwal.

Police confirmed arrest of an injured suspect, Umair, who was said to be a lawyer. The arrested suspect in his statement to police claimed he was married to the victim.

Eye-witnesses told that there were two more accomplices with Umair, who are on the run.

Officials are investigating whether the girl was killed and thrown from the building or she died after being pushed down.

They are also probing the matter as a possible suicide case.
