20,000 Pakistanis sent to jails in KSA over fake passports: Nisar

ISLAMABAD: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan Thursday revealed that 20,000 Pakistanis were sent to prisons in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) due to fake passports, ARY News reported.

Speaking at the floor of the National Assembly, Nisar said that the members of the Parliament kept recommending issuance of identity cards to foreigners and fake passports and CNICs were issued in the past.

In Saudi Arabia, 20,000 Pakistanis were jailed for possessing fake passports, he said, lamenting that members and public confidence in the Parliament is fading away.

He suggested all the cabinet members to present report of their ministries’ performance in the House.
