25 PML-N stalwarts join PTI ahead of by-election

LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz suffered a setback ahead of by-elections in Lahore when 25 of its local leaders joined Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), ARY News reported.

Speaking on the occasion, PTI chief Imran Khan said PML-N indulges in governance to mint money.

He vowed to run vibrant election campaign for NA-122 by-election in Lahore.

Khan claimed that no favoritism existed in any of the departments of Khyber Pakhtonkhwa. He said “everyone can hold me accountable or ask me about my assets.”

He welcomed the new leaders into PTI and said people were fed up of the PML-N’s policies.

Those who have just come into the PTI fold comprises former MPAs and MNAs.
