QUETTA: At least 30 militants were killed in operation by security forces in Dera Bugti, ARY News reported Thursday.
A FC personnel was also killed during the shootout with criminals.
Interior Minister Balochistan Sarfaraz Bugti confirmed deaths of 30 militants in an operation by FC. He said the security forces also recovered two abductees from the militants.
Around eight hideouts of militants were also destroyed by security forces.
He said those killed in the attack belonged to Baloch Republican Army (BRA). Key BRA leaders were also among those killed.
The interior minister said the provincial government will ensure security of people at all costs. He claimed that huge cache of weapons was recovered from militants.
