36 Indian fishermen released from Malir Jail

KARACHI: Thirty-six Indian fishermen were released from Malir Jail in Karachi on Friday, ARY News reported.

Thirty six fishermen released from District Jail Malir sent to Wagah border crossing in the buses provided by Edhi Foundation.

The released Indian prisoners will be handed over to the Indian authorities at the border crossing near Lahore.

India and Pakistan arrest fishermen for violation of their vaguely defined water borders.

Hundreds of Pakistani and Indian fishermen have been in jails due to illegal entry in the water zones of the two countries.
