A 94-year old American woman graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree with a perfect 4.0 GPA.
According to a foreign news website, Amy Craton graduated from Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) with a B.A. degree in English and creative writing with a perfect GPA of 4.0.
In 1964, the woman stopped her education in order to give full time to her children. She decided to graduate from SNHU as it reminded her of her childhood.
SNHU President Paul LeBlanc along with several staff members and faculty, flew to her residence in Hawaii to surprise her as she could not attend the convocation ceremony.
Craton said, “It feels good to graduate, to finish that part of my life, but I feel that I’m still on the road. I have much more to learn.”
The 94-year old is currently pursuing her Master’s degree and is working on daily assignments.
