The lawyer of state minister Abid Sher Ali submitted a written apology to the Election Commission of Pakistan on behalf of the minister. The hearing of the case was held today at the ECP office.
He said he completely respected the dignity of the ‘esteemed institution’.
The ECP, in its reply, said the final decision will be made after assessment of the apology tendered by the minister.
The hearing was postponed till November 26.
