Abdul Hafeez Pirzada laid to rest in Sukkur

SUKKUR: Renowned legal expert and former minister Abdul Hafeez Pirzada was laid to rest in Sukkur on Saturday, ARY News reported.

An air ambulance brought Pirzada’s dead body from London to Sukkur via Karachi.

Chief Minister Qaim Ali Shah, Opposition Leader Khursheed Shah, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Jehangir Tareen, Speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durrani, Mir Hazar Khan Bijarani, Mumtaz Bhutto, Nadir Laghari, Senator Islamuddin Sheikh and several other parliamentarians, lawyers, judges, religious and social figures and a large number of commoners attended his funeral prayers in Sukkur.

The former minister was laid to rest at his ancestral Jiye Shah graveyard here.

Abdul Hafiz Pirzada left behind his wife, two sons and two daughters.
