According to Farah, Happy New Year‘s success had inspired Abhishek so much, that he had started urging Farah to go ahead with a sequel for the movie. It was then that Farah decided to ask Abhishek to write the script for a possible sequel, to which the actor obliged.

The movie was a an action-comedy whose plot centered around a heist. Six would-be thieves entered a dance competition as competitors, in a guise to pull off a major heist.
