Addressing a news conference here, Abid Sher Ali said that the Government of Pakistan is ready for talks with Tehreek-i-Insaf, however it will have to abandon the politics of violence and build-up an appropriate milieu for negotiations.

He demanded the defiant party to call off its protests prior to the start of talks with the government.

The minister vowed that the man who fired at PTI rally in Faisalabad will be apprehended at any cost and brought before the nation, and for this purpose authorities have already sought NADRA’s assistance.

He said that the government had taken back arms from the police in Faisalabad to avoid any untoward incident, but despite of that a PTI worker was killed due to firing by a ‘third force’.

Without naming Sheikh Rasheed, he said that Tehreek-i-Insaf has adopted a person who does not even come out of the ‘Laal Haveli’.

“The very person was there with Musharraf and now he is up for devastating Imran Khan”, added the minister.

He slammed that those boasted off to remain peaceful invaded Faisalabad with batons, tyres and petrol, which clearly indicates their agenda to destroy the stabilizing economy of the country.

Abid Sher Ali said that it seems apparently as if Imran Khan is having the agenda to obstruct the way of development in Pakistan.

Moreover, he vowed that either he will surrender to the Faisalabad Police on Friday or will prove himself to be innocent.
