Adnan Sami to play conman in new film

Adnan Sami Khan has tweeted to announce his upcoming Bollywood debut in which he will play a conman. The iconic singer, who has been described as the Fastest Keyboard player in the world, has decided to branch out into acting in Indian films. The singer’s tweet came as a result of speculations among his fans regarding his acting ambitions. The star clarified that he would be acting in an Indian flick soon but not as a romantic hero.

”People are asking me about the role in my debut film…so here it goes… I am about to play a conman, who has a clumsy character.”

Adnan is no stranger to acting, though. In 1995, he starred opposite his ex-wife Zeba Bakhtiar in the Syed Noor directed Sargam which went on to become a blockbuster hit. For the soundtrack of the movie, he recorded 10 songs, some of them with Asha Bhonsle. The feat of recording ten songs for a Pakistani film was a unique record. Most of the songs became super hits, such as “Aae Khuda, aae Khuda”, “Zara Dholki bajao”, and “Bheega hua mousam”. The film earned his co-star and ex-wife Zeba Bakhtiar the prestigious Nigar award. Adnan has slimmed down from being an obese man to a fit one. The singer/actor seems keen on sharing his example to inspire all obese and fat people out there.

Adnan Sami Khan also has a son from his Pakistani ex-wife, Azaan Sami Khan. Azaan has recently produced the Pakistan hit spy thriller action film Operation 021. The film was a much talked about film from last year and earned much appraise from viewers. Let’s hope Adnan’s acting ambitions end up good enough as we all want to see him in a blockbuster again!
