Afghan president, Nawaz discuss regional security

ISLAMABAD: Afghan President Ashraf Ghani on Monday phoned up Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and discussed matters of mutual interest, ARY News reported.

During the telephonic conversation, the two leaders exchanged views on bilateral relations and security situation in the region.

They agreed to jointly fight the common enemy. PM Sharif said Pakistan respects strengthened relations with Afghanistan.

The relations between the two countries are building up with each passing day, hailed the PM.

The Afghan president appreciated PM Sharif for sending Army Chief General Raheel Sharif to Afghanistan, which would help improving bilateral ties between the neighboring countries.
