According to details, the committee held its first meeting today which was attended by Pakistan team coach Waqar Younus and Intikhab Alam. The two veterans spilled the beans before the committee.
Younus, while talking to media later, joined his hands together apologizing the nation for poor performance of the national team.
At the end of the meeting, officials contacted Afridi, who declined to appear before the PCB committee citing domestic engagements.
The star all-rounder said if the officials wanted to inquire something, they could ask him on phone.
The PCB committee will again meet tomorrow and will summon some more cricket-related figures to ascertain the causes of team’s poor performance in World T20 and Asia Cup.
