The management was close to finalizing the amount with star all-rounder, when Afridi suddenly changed his mind, says the report.
The reason behind came out to be the show’s format, which involves couples rocking the dance floor.
The report quotes a source as saying that, “Shahid was ready for a solo act but when told that his wife and he would have to groove together, he was taken aback. He categorically told us that he doesn’t want the whole world to see this and turned down the offer.”
The source adds on that nobody can argue a man in such a case for it’s purely a personal matter.
Apart from Shahid Afridi, some other contenders have also been approached for the soon-to-be-launched dance show.
It should also be noted here that former Pakistan captain Shoaib Malik and his wife, Sania Mirza – Indian tennis star – have also been to Nach Baliye’s dance floor among others.
