After Edhi, robbers point theirs guns at Chhipa welfare

The CCTV footage of the incident has also been surfaced. At least 10 armed men barged into the charity welfare’s office at Sharah-e-Faisal and rode away with Rs 5 million including alms and jewelries.

Most of the robbers were wearing helmets and held the staff hostage at gun point. The case was registered at Brigade Police Station against unknown persons.

It may be noted here that armed robbers raided Edhi welfare centre in Lyari and stolen worth millions of rupees in cash as well as five kilos of gold.

At least eight robbers struck at the Edhi Centre, taking several staff hostage and threatening the organisation’s revered founder Abdul Sattar Edhi at gunpoint.
