Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Senator Aitzaz Ahsan slammed that at first companies registered in the name of PM’s sons were revealed, but now enterprises owned by the premier himself have also come to light.

Aitzaz, who happens to be a renowned lawyer, noted that misuse of powers is punishable by as much as 14 years prison term.

“Sharif family must tell as to which Paras stone – philosopher’s stone – they have that turns everything into gold,” said the PPP lawmaker.

Opposition Leader in the National Assembly (NA) Khursheed Shah said the prime minister, through his address with the nation, intensified the Panama leaks issue.

There was a black-out of the joint sitting of the Parliament on state TV, which the PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi bemoaned.

Opposition’s strong criticism of the government today showed that the matter is not going to die down any time sooner.
