The fighter jets pounded hideouts’ of militants in Tirah Valley and destroyed many of their sanctuaries. At least 20 of the militants were killed in the air strike and several injured.
Army says it has killed more than a thousand militants and lost 86 soldiers since the start of Operation Zarb-e-Azb.
