Pakistani cricketer-turned-politician Imran Khan’s Shaukat Khanum cancer hospital has worked magic for poor cancer patients across the country. Owing to his celebrity status and affiliation with local entertainment celebrities, Imran Khan has always invited famous personalities to secure funds for his hospital. Recently, Ali Zafar performed at the Lahore Shaukat Khanum vicinity at a fundraiser gala dinner, in an effort to collect funds for the Peshawar Shaukat Khanum cancer hospital, which Imran aims to open in KPK’s provincial capital.
Sponsored by Summit Bank, Bank Al-Habib, Pepsi and Allied Bank, the event was a success. Ayesha Omar was also present on the occasion. Ali Zafar took the mic later and sang a couple of his melodies.
Ali Zafar has also previously attended a charity event of renowned actress Goldie Hawn, which was also attended by prolific Hollywood actor Kurt Russell.
