All religious parties should unite for Islamic system, calls Siraj

MANSURA: Emir of Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Siraj-ul-Haq has said that the differences between the religious parties are the biggest hurdle in the enforcement of Islamic system in the country, ARY News reported.

Addressing a conference in Mansura, he said that all religious parties have to be united in order to enforce Islamic system.

“The Holy Quran guarantees rights for men and women but Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif wants to destroy the family system through the pro-women bill,” he said.

The JI Chief said that a bill, in light of Quranic verses and Sunnah, will be presented in opposite to the women protection bill.
