Altaf asks criminals to leave MQM

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain in a speech on Sunday said that criminal elements shall either leave crime or quit MQM, ARY News reported.

Speaking to workers and office bearers of the party on Sunday, MQM founder and chief announced that if any criminal is using his party’s cover to carry out criminal activities, he or she shall either leave party or leave crimes.

“MQM will not go to courts after you”, said Altaf.

Hussain vowed to clean his party of criminals.

Altaf Hussain spoke from London on telephone and nominated party leader Kunwar Naveed Jamil for NA-246 by election-the National Assembly seat vacated by Nabeel Gabol.

Moreover, Waseem Akhtar was made the head of party’s recently nominated Central Executive Committee.

On the Yemen issue, Hussain advised the government to take all parties in confidence before taking any decision. He lamented that some so-called liberal and progressive parties are teaching the nation to support Saudi Arabia.

MQM chief repeated that his party believes in non-violence and is a peaceful party.

On this occasion, some old party songs were played to rejuvenate workers’ love for party.
