Altaf Hussain, in a statement, said that the country was divided due to the injustice towards the Bengali people.

He added that several communities in the country are being deprived from their legal rights and the demands for new administrative units are not being listened.

“I see the situation heading towards the birth of a new tragedy”, Altaf said.

MQM Chief also said that scores of trapped Pakistanis are living in misery in the Red Cross camps in Bangladesh and are in need of the government’s support.
