In a statement issued from the party, Hussain said that Ibad is Pakistan’s first, Asia’s second and the third man in the world to hold the office of governor for such a long period.
“In his 12 years in office, Ibad, holdover from Musharraf regime, paid heed to problems of people of Sindh and served them to the best of his ability”, said Altaf
While lauding Ibad’s performance, MQM founder remarked that the governor should be congratulated over his performance and efforts in the development of province.
Altaf Hussain prayed to God for granting health to Ibad so that he serves the people with honesty and sincerity.
