Altaf demands inquiry into worker's killing

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain condemned the killing of party worker Sikandar Ali in strong words, ARY News reported on Wednesday

He demanded Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif, Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Director General (DG) Lieutenant General Rizwan Akhtar and federal interior minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan to conduct proper inquiry into the extrajudicial killing of Sikandar Ali.

MQM chief  also clamored for registration of a case against law enforcement personnel involved in the extrajudicial killing.

Altaf Hussain claimed that Sikandar Ali was arrested from airport on Monday night. After few hours, his dead body was recovered from Moach Goth.

After condemning the worker’s extrajudicial killing, He remarked that none has the right to arrest someone and kill instead of producing him in the court adding that a few days before, another party worker Sajid was killed after brutal torture.

 Altaf Hussain in the end, condoled with the bereaved family of the killed worker Sikandar Ali.
