Altaf dissolves MQM Karachi Rabita Committee

KARACHI: MQM chief Altaf Hussain on Saturday announced to dissolve the Rabita Committee of the party’s Karachi chapter, ARY News reported.

Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief dissolved the Rabita Committee over the members’ inability to fulfill their responsibilities and apparent glitches in organisational matters.

The decision about the party’s London Rabita Committee will be announced within two days, a party statement said.

“Kaiful Wara, Abdul Haseeb and Arif Khan will remain members of the Rabita Committee,” party statement said.

The statement quoting Altaf Hussain has requested members of the Rabita Committee to refrain from visiting party headquarters, Nine Zero.

The MQM chief further said that “senior leaders of the party should submit proposals to the party headquarters today for re-constitution of the committee.”
