Altaf gets bail extension in money laundering case

LONDON: Mutahidda Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has been given extension in bail in money laundering case in London, ARY News reported.

In a latest development, the London police continued questioning of the MQM chief and later he got extension in his bail till July 9, 2015.

The members of MQM legal committee also accompanied Mr. Hussain. Sources told that that UK police interviewed the MQM chief for five hours.

It is learnt that the passport of MQM chief will remain in possession of UK authorities.

Sources told that Mr. Hussain was granted extension in bail in view of his health condition.

Soon after the news of bail extension came to light, a large number of MQM workers exchanged sweets at Nine Zero.
