Altaf Hussain apologizes for vitriolic attacks on LEAs

KARACHI: Chief of Mutahhida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain on Tuesday apologized for vitriolic attacks on law enforcement agencies (LEAs), ARY News reported.

In a statement, Altaf Hussain, expressing apology, said he respects national institutions and didn’t mean to hurt anyone with his words.

“I feel sorry for the harsh criticism against some individuals during my last addresses”, stated Altaf Hussain.

Declaring Baldia Town incident aching, he said culprits involved in the heinous crime should be taken to task without any discrimination.

Altaf Hussain said presently Pakistan is passing through the toughest phase of its history.

“At one hand, Pakistan Army has launched operation against militants, who are carrying out suicide attacks on places of worship, markets and shrines and on the other hand some elements directly or indirectly supporting these terrorists”, said Altaf Hussain.
