Altaf for easing visa processing for Pakistani Britons

LONDON: Chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain has demanded Pakistan government to ease the process of visa issuance and identity card for Pakistanis residing in the United Kingdom, ARY News reported.

A delegation of people belong to Kashmir community residing in Britain called on Altaf Hussain at MQM International secretariat today.

The delegation informed MQM Chief that earlier Pakistanis in UK get their visa issued directly from High Commissions and Pakistan consulates but now the procedure has been changed.

“Now Pakistanis residing in UK need to contact Gerrys service for the visa, as a result this, process has become time-consuming as well as expensive”, they added.

Altaf expressed regret over the difficulties faced by Pakistanis in UK for the issuance of visa. He asked government of Pakistan to make visa process easier in this regard.
