Altaf Hussain indicates presence of IS in Pakistan

KARACHI: Chief of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) Altaf Hussain on Friday pointed out the presence of Islamic State (IS) or ‘Daish’ threat in Pakistan saying ” Enormous amount of flags are there from Sadiqabad to Islamabad”, ARY News reported.

While addressing a press conference in Karachi via telephone from London, Altaf Hussain said declared IS as the new threat for Pakistan. He said Islamic State – formed by Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi , is the merger of different militant groups. Thus it’s much more perilous as compare to Al-Qaeda and Taliban, he added.

MQM Chief claimed that United States formed Taliban asking Pakistan and Suadi Arabia to support them in the fight against Soviet Union.

Altaf Hussain appealed nation to remain united in the fight against militants of Islamic State.
