Altaf Hussain lauds Pakistan Army, IDPs

LONDON: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain said on Thursday that MQM will not spare a moment if Pakistan Army calls for country’s defence, ARY News reported.

Addressing the joint session of MQM’s London and Karachi co-ordination committee, MQM chief vowed not to step back if Pakistan’s armed forces call for country’s defence.

While sympathizing with the Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) of war on terror, he appealed philanthropists to come forward and help the victims.

The party session agreed on making an advisory committee comprising of retired army officials which shall send its recommendations to high military officials.

Altaf Hussain also reviewed the details of MQM membership program.
