Altaf lauds party workers over 'Bao Anwar' protest

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain Wednesday lauded party workers and officers for their protest against the murder of Bao Muhammad Anwar, ARY News reported.

MQM chief who earlier directed party workers to stage a powerful protest , praised party workers for their obedience to the command by protesting in large numbers  against the killing of MQM Sialkot Vice President Bao Anwar.

Altaf Hussain was of the view that unity, responsibility and activism will one day bring revolution (Haq Parast Inqilab) in Pakistan.

Moreover, MQM chief thanked locals and overseas Pakistanis for their condolence messages on the tragic death of party’s Punjab leader.

It must be noted that unknown assailants Wednesday opened fire on MQM leader Bao Anwar when he was standing outside his restaurant on Shahab Pura road.

It was a targeted attack as he was killed after being identified by the attackers. The attack also left two of the restaurant employees Muneer and Younus injured.
