Altaf, Nasim Wali for Pakhtoon-Mohajir unity in Karachi

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain said on Sunday that Pukhtoons and Mohajirs should jointly march for peace and development in Karachi, ARY News reported.

MQM chief expressed these views on Awami National Party (ANP)- Wali Khan group’s chairperson Begum Nasim Wali’s visit to MQM headquarters Nine Zero.

Altaf Hussain said that Pakhtuns and Mohajirs should act like sons of the same soil to spread ANP founder Bacha Khan’s message of non-violence for peace and prosperity in Karachi.

Begum Nasim Wali Khan on the ocassion said that she has reached here to start a new phase of politics based upon Mohajir-Pukhtoon unity to end terrorism.

The veteran politician and wife of late Wali Khan maintained that blood of Pakhtun community has been traded for in Karachi.

Earlier, Begum Nasim Wali was received by MQM Rabita Committee and party workers with enthusiasm.
