Expressing his views on different TV channels, MQM chief also offered unconditional support to PTI if they hold their electoral rally on Shahrah-e-Pakistan.

“Let us bury the past and embark on a new journey of love”, said Hussain.

MQM chief also welcomed old rival Jamaat-e-Islami for their planned electoral gathering in Federal B Area on April 12.

Hussain even asked his party workers to attend the JI rally if they have the courage to bear criticism and difference of opinion.

MQM founder told media that he spent the whole night instructing his party’s co-ordination committee   regarding the arrangements for a befitting reception of PTI chief and his wife Reham Khan.

About the workers’ clash today, he maintained that such minor incidents happen at all political gatherings and shall be ignored.

Altaf Hussain prayed that may the atmosphere of peace and brotherhood last forever.

It must be noted that PTI chief Imran Khan during his visit to Karachi on Thursday said that his party’s April 19 rally shall not be held at Jinnah Ground as the place is too small to accommodate all party supporters.

Meanwhile, the PTI candidate for NA-246 by-polls claimed that their is no change in the plan and the PTI rally will be held in Azizabad’s famous Jinnah Ground.

The NA-246 seat fell vacant after Nabil Gabol, who was elected on the ticket of MQM in the 2013 general elections, resigned from his seat after developing differences with the party.

The by-election on the National Assembly seat will be held on April 23.
