Altaf, Qaim discuss Karachi issues on phone

KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain talked to Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah and exchanged views on water crisis and terrorism in Karachi, ARY News reported.

According to details, MQM chief contacted CM Sindh on phone and discussed several issues relating to Karachi and Sindh.

Altaf Hussain lauded Sindh police over their recent anti-terror efforts by saying that it is a great achievement of police to arrest the culprits of Safoora Chowrangi bus attack in such a short time.

Karachi’s water shortage problem also came under discussion during the conversation between the two big wigs as MQM chief claimed that the people of the city are deeply annoyed by the continuing water shortage in the city.

Hussain maintained that leaders and public representatives of MQM have suggested a number of ways to solve the crisis.

The MQM delegation with its list of recommendations will meet the CM today (Monday).
