Amir leaves for UAE to play T20 series against Windies

LAHORE: Newly-wed Pakistani fast bowler Mohammad Amir left for United Arab Emirates with his wife for the Twenty20 series against West Indies on Wednesday night, ARY News reported.

According to details, Mohammad Amir and his wife Nargis packed their bags and flew to Dubai from Allama Iqbal International Airport in Lahore after attending their Valima reception.

Large number of family relatives had reached Lahore Airport to bid farewell to the family. He will join the cricket team for training from today.

Cricket fans also congratulate the couple on getting married as well.

The three-match Twenty20 series between Pakistan and West Indies starts from 23rd September whereas the second T20 will be contested on 24th September.

The third and final game of the series will be played on 27th September.
