ANF foils drugs smuggling bid at Karachi Airport
KARACHI: Anti Narcotics Force (ANF) on Friday seized drugs worth hundreds of thousands rupees at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport, ARY News reported.
According to details, the ANF staff searched two thermoses, which were being couriered to Canada from Pakistan. The ANF personnel found heroin worth hundreds of thousands rupees stuffed in two thermoses.
A spokesman of the force said that the substance was hidden in the two thermoses in a manner as an expert had did the job. The drug was to be smuggled out of the country.
He added that a case has been filed against unknown persons and an investigation has been launched to trace and arrest the culprits.
