Another death row convict hanged in Multan

Nasrullah was convicted for killing a man in Muzaffargarh in year 1994. He had served more than 20 years of imprisonment for the murder.

Medical examination of the death row convicts was conducted and a meeting was arranged between him and his family members before the execution.

Following the execution in Multan, the toll of hangings has been reached to 55.

Pakistan lifted its moratorium on the death penalty in all capital punishment cases on March 10 after deadly attack on the Army Public School on December 16, 2014 in which around 141 people, most of them children, were killed.
