Ansar Burney files petition against VIP culture

KARACHI: Renowned social worker Ansar Burney on Friday filed a petition in the Sindh High Court against VIP culture in the country, ARY News reported.

Ansar Burney, in the petition, has pleaded the court to take notice against VIP culture in the country as basic human rights are violated during the VIP movement.

President Mamnoon Hussain, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Governor Sindh Dr. Ishratul Ebad Khan and Chief Minister Sindh Syed Qaim Ali Shah have been nominated in the petition.

A 10-month-old infant named Bisma reportedly passed away when her father was not allowed to enter Karachi’s Civil Hospital by the protocol officials of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, who came to the medical facility to inaugurate a trauma centre.

She died in the arms of her father.

Senior Sindh Minister Nisar Khuhro had said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s protocol is also important.
