This year, the Karachi Literature Festival will be a talked-about event for sure, since it will host renowned and esteemed speakers from India. Veteran Indian actor Anupam Kher will also speak to attendees at Karachi Literature Festival. Renowned journalist Barkha Dutt, Ex-Indian Foreign Minister Salman Khurshid and Indian actress Nandita Das will also speak at the event.
The auspicious event will be held at Karachi’s Beach Luxury Hotel from 5th to 7th February 2016. Sessions will be held from 10:00 am to 09:30 pm and it is an open entry event which can be attended by all.
“Bringing together international and Pakistani writers to promote reading and showcase writing at its best,” read a post on the website.
According to a local report, as many as 21 books will be launched during the three-day event. As many as 262 speakers will take part in the event and over 100 sessions will be conducted for attendees. Previously, as many as seven to eight sessions were held simultaneously but this year, a couple of changes have been made and no more than five sessions will be held at one time.
