He stated this while presiding over a meeting on Arfa Kareem I.T City project here.
Dr. Shoro said that all due formalities must be completed as per law to engage the consortium for finalization of financial, technical, environmental, legal and administrative matters before submission to the Chief Minister Sindh for approval.
He also informed that IT Department had already procured 200 acres land for Arfa Kareem IT City. He also directed the officials to remove all the bottle necks hindering the completion of such an important project as soon as possible.
On the occasion, Ms. Naheed Memon chairperson Sindh Board of Investment informed that we are facing some hindrance from revenue department which need to be resolved jointly. She also informed that up till now land has been allotted to 23 educational institutes in Karachi Education city and SBI is working on the development of infrastructure.
Dr. Sikandar Shoro and Chairperson, Sindh Board of Investment also stated that IT Department and SBI will make joint efforts to coordinate and to complete mega project of international as well as national importance.
