According to details, General Raheel Sharif presided over a meeting of military’s promotion board on Wednesday.
Officials during the meeting reviewed several names under consideration for upgradation.
The board after consultation decided to elevate 28 brigadiers to major general rank, which was approved by the COAS.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said that those getting promoted also included seven doctors of the Pakistan Army’s Medical Corps.
