According to military sources, around 80 terrorists, who had entered in Pakistani territory from Afghanistan, attacked a Pakistani checkpost last night in an area between Tripaman and Inkal Sar.
Pakistani forces repulsed the attack killing seven attackers, while nine others were injured in the incident.
After a military offensive in North Waziristan tribal region, most of the militants in the terrorist hub, have transferred their hideouts to the other side of the border in Afghanistan.
Pakistan has repeatedly urged the United States and Afghan authorities to act against the terrorists who have fled to Afghanistan.
