In a statement issued this evening, Khawaja Asif stated that it is similar to deceiving one’s own self by dreaming of peace countrywide, without restoring peace in Karachi.
“Karachi is the economic hub of Pakistan and we will protect it at any cost,” read the statement.

He said that not too many days ago, the Muttahida Qaumi Movement was itself demanding for a martial law and now when the writ of law is being established there, then the MQM is complaining about it.
