According to ISPR statement, the COAS appreciated the formation for their performance in conducting operations and maintaining security.
The army chief reiterated that the Pakistan Army will always respond to the call of the nation and come up to their expectation, may it be for defence of the motherland or during natural calamities.
Gen Sharif also visited Sindh Regimental Centre, laid floral wreath at Yadgar-e-Shuhada (martyrs’ monument) and offered Fatiha.
Earlier on arrival in Hyderabad, General Raheel Sharif was received by Corps Commander, Lieutenant General Naveed Mukhtar.
