Arthur said hard training with commitment while fasting is highly commendable, he said about the duo.
The coach was also lauded discipline of the two senior players. He said Misbah and Younis were ready for any kind of training, but they insist on observing fast, he added.
When we left for England from Lahore, the duo were even in the state of fast, said Arthur.
He said team was preparing hard to overcome loopholes in the fielding side. The coach also asked bowling coach Mushtaq Ahmed to train hard bowlers.
Pakistan and England last clashed in the UAE, where Pakistan plays its home games because of security concerns, in October-November 2015 with the South Asian side prevailing 2-0 in the three match series.
They also played in the UAE in 2012, when Pakistan rolled over the English 3-0.
Pakistan play Sussex from July 8 to 10 in another side game before taking on England in the first of four Tests at Lord’s from July 14.
The Tests will be followed by five one-day internationals and a Twenty20.
