Last night’s Lux Style Awards were a spectacle indeed. Amid flashing lights, lots of groovy tunes and a star-studded gala, nothing could go wrong (and it didn’t). Pakistan entertainment industry’s who’s who showed up at the event and made sure that when the curtains were closed, attendees were left satiated. Ever since the nominations were announced, Pyare Afzal was expected to score big at the Lux Style Awards and boy did it do that. Notching up 5 awards, the super-hit TV serial eclipsed all other feats, as it notched awards in the Best TV Play, Best TV Actor, Best TV actress, Best TV Writer and Best TV director list! Hamza Ali Abbasi was quite elated with his Best TV Actor award and proudly showed off his accolade as soon as he received it, on his official Facebook account.
Not to be outdone, Aiza Khan also took to social media and thanked her fans for their love and support for her. She looked stunning with her gleaming accolade as well:-
Hamza Ali Abbasi and Humayun Saeed both looked dapper in their attires, as they attended the event.
Hamza also took the opportunity to snap a selfie with Aiza Khan, reminding all how good the both of them looked together on and off-screen.
Fawad Khan and Mahira Khan, the two rising Pakistani stars of Bollywood, hosted the event and their chemistry was exceptional to witness for those in attendance.

Coming to the music side of things, Zoe Viccaji emerged as the victor when it came to the Best Album category, notching the plaque for Dareeche. Farhan Saeed’s melodious Roiyaan was picked as the Song of The Year.
Sara Haider managed to attract everyone this year, with her catchy Ae Dil duet with Ali Zafar, and the song seemed to have propelled her to bag the Best Emerging Talent (Singer) award.
In the film category, Na Maloom Afraad took home multiple awards. The Best Film Actor award went to Javed Sheikh for his role in Na Maloom Afraad whereas Best Film Director was won by Nabeel Qureshi for Na Maloom Afraad. The Best Film award also went to Na Maloom Afraad. Sana Safinaz dominated the fashion category and the Model Of The Year (Male) went to Shehzad Noor whereas the Model Of The Year (Female) went to Amna Ilyas. There were live performances as well, as Ali Zafar electrified the audience with his pop hits, namely Rockstar and Amjad Sabri performed Tajdar-e-Haram, which astounded everyone in attendance. Plenty of dance performances also rocked the show.
All in all, the Lux Style Awards 2015 were a spectacle to witness and awarded the emerging artists as well as those who had done commendable jobs throughout the year, with accolades and laurels. Seems like the Pakistani showbiz industry is headed in the right direction, after all. Kudos to those who win and as for the ones who left empty-handed, chin up and better luck next time!
