ARY News locates house of US drone attack victim

KARACHI: ARY News on Monday located temporary residence of Muhammed Wali in Karachi, who died in a US drone strike on Saturday night and was suspected to be Afghan Taliban chief Mullah Akhtar Mansour.

Without providing any evidence, the United States (US) and the Afghan government officials confirmed that the person traveling along the driver, in the vehicle that was destroyed in the attack, near Pakistan-Afghanistan border, was Mullah Mansour. While, Pakistan has maintained that it could be confirmed only after investigations into this matter are completed.



ARY News has found house of the victim in Karachi through picture of the identity card found at the site of attack. Talking to ARY News, renter of the house, Shaiq, said the person died in drone strike very much resembled to owner of that house, Muhammed Wali. he told that it was third time that he rented the same apartment.

The intelligence agencies raided flat no B-16, Bismillah Terrace, in Gulzar-e-Hijri area and arrested real estate agent, Yousuf, who also happens to be a local leader of Awami National Party (ANP), Agha Jabbar, and a taxi driver, Basheer.



Jabbar is said to have links with land mafiaso, Noor. The ANP has not yet given its response to the development.
